April brought another brilliant round of nominations for our £150 for Charity giveaway, part of our year-long celebration of 150 years in business. We’re still amazed every month by how many fantastic local charities and community groups are nominated - and April was no exception! The shortlist was full of inspiring organisations doing great work across Surrey, Sussex, and Kent.

We’ve been absolutely loving our £150 for Charity giveaways this year to celebrate our 150th anniversary, and February brought another brilliant month of nominations and community spirit!

This month over 600 votes were cast in support of some truly incredible local organisations, and we couldn’t be prouder to see the community come together like that.

We recently celebrated an incredible milestone for our Managing Director,Wesley Bourne - 30 years with Bournes!

In May a team from Bournes, calling themselves "Bourne to be Wild" joined the "100 miles in May" challenge in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Every year since 1996 Rye Town council has displayed local artist John Ryan's reproduction of The Adoration of the Magi (a triptych depicting the nativity scene originally painted in 1423 by Gentile de Fabriano) in the town hall's 'Buttermarket'.
