Use of Bournes services in this area has dramatically increased since 2006 and they are now intrinsic to the LBB core team that supports the above events in all areas of the critical pre, actual and post service periods including assistance at the actual count venues. Bournes offer an extremely flexible approach to service demands and all rota periods are covered to the extent that it is seamless, this is a critical requirement when we are working across 32 plus hour duty periods. In our experience of using Bournes across Election periods I can state that we do not have so much a client/contractor relationship but a virtual team approach. It is a professional bonus to be able to work alongside a team of people who have the same desire to make each event better than the previous one. This year has been a particularly demanding one with the London Assembly/ Mayor of London elections and the European Referendum and if it were not for their support we would have struggled to deliver the equivalent of 52.5 weeks of work across a total of twelve service demand working days.
