Bournes team walk 1411 miles to raise £1,390 for Cancer Research UK

In May a team from Bournes, calling themselves "Bourne to be Wild" joined the "100 miles in May" challenge in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The team smashed their initial £500 target, raising an amazing £1,390 toward funding vital research in the fight against Cancer. Each team member had a target of walking 100 miles each across the month, and some achieved even more! Collectively the team walked 1411 miles throughout the month.

Hayley completes Ride the Night 2016 charity challenge

Congratulations to our Quality and Training Manager, Hayley Couzens, who recently completed a gruelling 65 mile charity bike ride in aid of Breast Cancer Care.

Hayley had been training for several months in the run up to the race, which took place overnight in Central London on Saturday May 28th. Ride the Night is the UK's first ever women-only bike ride which aims to raise money for the three main female charities - Breast Cancer Care, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action....

Congratulations to Tricia Skinner, the recpetionist at Bournes Moves' Rye HQ, who has completed the Hastings Half Marathon in aid of the MS Society.

A huge congratulations goes to Tricia Skinner, the receptionist at our Rye HQ, who completed the Hastings Half Marathon on Sunday 22nd March. 

Tricia finished the 13 mile race in an impressive 2 hours and 25 minutes - proving that all her hard work training over the last four months has certainly paid off.

Fundraising for the Removers Benevolent Association

On July 31st Bournes Moves company headquarters in Rye, East Sussex held a quiz night to help with fundraising for the Removers Benevolent Association.
