At our Global Working event "Supporting LGBT assignees on overseas assignment" back in April this year Stonewall (leading LGBT rights organisation) announced that they were putting together a series of Global Briefings. We are thrilled to let you know these are now available to download for free.
The briefings:
- Provide a legal overview, which can support HR and policy teams to ensure policies are legally compliant and supportive of LGBT colleagues
- Share good practice examples from global employers, to inspire and inform HR, diversity teams, and LGBT networks
- Provide an important, succinct summary of in-country contexts for global mobility teams, helping them to identify where LGBT colleagues may need additional support when traveling internationally
- Can be shared with staff considering an international posting, to support them to make an informed choice about working abroad.
The briefings are currently available for Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Africa and Turkey with further countries currently in development.
