Bournes International Moves has re-gained its 2015 title as Overseas Mover of the Year by coming top in the category for the second time at the 2017 BAR Mover of the Year Awards.
The BAR Overseas Mover of the Year is an Overseas Group Council award that is open to any International Removals Company that is a member of it's Overseas Group. The aim of the award is to encourage and celebrate high standards within the international removals industry, and to reward those companies who really lead by example and excel in customer service.
This year, the competition focused completely on the "Customer Experience" - from a customer making the decision to move, right through to the post move follow up/customer feedback.
The award was presented to the company at a Gala Dinner on Saturday 20th May - marking the second win in this category for our International moves division.

About the Overseas Mover of the Year Award
The BAR is the largest established & most recognised Trade Association for the removals industry in the UK with over 500 of the leading professional removals companies in membership. Members must meet strict standards and adhere to a Trading Standards institute approved Code of Practice.
Entries for this year's competition were judged according to the following criteria:
- Customer feedback and satisfaction
- Website - customer experience
- Online contact
- Quotation form - content, layout, information, clarity
- Knowledge, professionalism and helpfulness of staff
- Commitment to quality and high standards
The BAR’s Overseas Group is a dedicated group of companies within the British Association of Removers that specialize in all aspects of overseas removals - so to be named winner of this category for a second time is a huge accolade for Bournes International Moves.
