Bournes named finalist for BAR Overseas Mover of the Year Award 2018

We are very proud to announce that Bournes International Moves has been named a finalist in the 2018 'Overseas Mover of the Year' award which seeks to find the best overseas removals company with the best customer experience.

The British Association of Removers (BAR) is the UK's leading trade association for the removals industry, founded over 100 years ago. The BAR’s Overseas Group comprises over 50 member companies who specialise in international removals services to and from the UK.  

The BAR Overseas Mover of the Year is an Overseas Group Council award that is open to any International Removals Company that is a member of it's Overseas Group. The competition aims to encourage and celebrate high standards and to reward those who lead by example, excelling in customer service.

As usual this years competition focuses completely on the "Customer Experience" - from a customer making the decision to move, right through to the post move follow up/customer feedback.

The competition first launched in 2015 and Bournes are proud to have previously been named both 2015 Overseas Mover of the Year and 2017 Overseas Mover of the Year.

Overseas Mover of the Year Award Criteria

Entries are reviewed by 3 independent judges according to the following criteria:

• Customer feedback and satisfaction
• Website - customer experience
• Online contact
• Quotation form - content, layout, information, clarity
• Knowledge, professionalism and helpfulness of staff
• Commitment to quality and high standards

Once all the assessments are complete, the winner will be decided and announced at a Gala Dinner during the BAR Annual Conference in May.
