At Bournes, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve, and this January, we were thrilled to support Hospice in the Weald’s fantastic Christmas Tree Recycling campaign once again. As a local charity close to our Tunbridge Wells branch, the Hospice does incredible work supporting people in our community, so when we had the chance to help out, we jumped at it.
We sent a van and two of our amazing team members to join the effort, collecting Christmas trees from generous locals who made donations to Hospice in the Weald in return. It was a brilliant initiative that brought the community together to make a difference – and what a difference it made!
The campaign was a huge success, raising an incredible £57,675 to support local hospice care. Together, nearly 2,600 trees were collected from homes across the area, a staggering achievement that highlights the generosity of everyone who donated and the dedication of all involved.
