Using management data for Employee Relocation

Everyone is talking about Data and how powerful it can be; here we look at why and how we can use management data for Employee Relocation

In a recent article in the Harvard Business Review entitled “Big Data: The Management Revolution” Andrew McAffee and Erik Brynjolfsson discuss the recent explosion in digital data: “You can’t manage what you don’t measure - There’s much wisdom in that saying, and it explains why the recent explosion of digital data is so important. Simply put, because of big data, managers can measure, and hence know, radically more about their businesses, and directly translate that knowledge into improved decision making and performance.”

Research commissioned by McAffee and Brynjolfsson found:

“Companies in the top third of their industry in the use of data-driven decision making were, on average, 5% more productive and 6% more profitable than their competitors”.
