Move Coordinator

We have an opening for a Move Co-ordinator to join our Customer Services team based at High Brooms, Tunbridge Wells.

This is a full time permanent position, suitable for someone who has an interest in removals and wishes to progress. We would welcome applications from those who meet the job role criteria below.

 

Responsibilities (when fully trained):

  • Responding to customer enquiries, booking surveys, issuing sales quotations and administering new moves/ relocation bookings
  • Co-ordinate the move, door to door, liaising with crew, shipping lines and agents and keeping the customer updated
  • Advising customers on services including insurance and storage, and amending customer bookings and quotations as necessary
  • Planning and managing unforeseen issues through the move (e.g. late keys) and resolving any customer concerns throughout the moving process
  • Co-ordinate with the sales team, crew and Operations to ensure that any changes are communicated internally and the operations crew are fully briefed before each move
  • Process all administration though the IT system (Moveware) accurately and on time, ensuring that all moving documentation is managed efficiently

Requirements:

  • Customer Services experience is essential, ideally working in a busy environment handling multiple customer enquiries
  • Previous office administration experience is essential
  • Experience using Microsoft Office is essential, use of a CRM System would be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written English and good numeracy is required
  • Must be calm and show empathy to customers, as moving home is often a stressful experience
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, must have strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work under pressure and adaptable to manage changes
  • Must be a team player, self-motivated and thrive in a fast paced working environment
