Bournes Moves has announced its acquisition of local removals and storage company Robinsons of Aylesbury.
Robinsons of Aylesbury was founded in 1909 and has built a strong reputation as a reliable removal company, generating most of its custom through word of mouth recommendations throughout the Buckinghamshire area.
Bournes Home Moves is a family-run company founded in 1875 with facilities throughout the South East of England in Kent, Sussex and Surrey. The acquisition means that Bournes can now provide its range of moving and storage services to a wider geographical area whilst retaining the skills and local knowledge of an experienced team in Aylesbury.
Whist Robinsons of Aylesbury will shortly transition to the new Bournes name, customers will continue to receive the same personal, professional, high-quality services they have always been used to. Bournes are delighted to be investing in the Aylesbury branch to improve customer experience and provide increased employment opportunities locally (Find out more about Careers at Bournes).
Robinsons of Aylesbury employees will be staying with the company and the whole Bournes team looks forward to working with them to take the business forward as an official Bournes Home Moves branch. Over time the name we use when we talk to customers, the uniforms our crews wear and the logos on our vehicles will transition to Bournes and we hope everyone enjoys the new look!

What does the rebrand mean for Robinsons of Aylesbury and Bournes customers?
During and after the rebrand we are pleased to say that we will continue to offer uninterrupted service to all existing and new customers for removals and storage in Aylesbury. Our removals crews remain unchanged, offering the same high-quality service and years of experience they always have, just in their new red shirts!
