For the third year in a row, Bournes Relocation Solutions has won The Forum for Expatriate Management’s (FEM) EMMA award for the best International Moving Company of the Year at the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) awards.
The FEM is an organisation that supports and brings together Global Mobility and Human Resources professionals from corporate organisations across the globe. The annual EMMA awards celebrate excellence in global mobility worldwide and winning an EMMA is the ultimate recognition of professional excellence.
Following an industry wide nominations process Bournes Relocation Solutions were shortlisted and a panel of judges including some of the most well respected names in global mobility decided the eventual winner.
The judges commented "It's good to see a strategy focused on putting people at the centre of what the business does. There is evidence that this has had a downstream positive impact on the business, its growth and, it would appear, has fostered an environment where innovation has thrived".
Managing Director Wesley Bourne said “Winning this award once is an honour, but the feeling within the team of winning three years in a row is hard to put into words! When you do what you do every day, because that’s just how you do things, it’s easy to forget how valuable all the little touches are that everyone in our team puts into making the customer experience a good one for our corporate accounts and their assignees. This recognition is a lovely reminder of why we do what we do, that its valued and that it really does make a difference."
Wesley paid tribute to his team, adding "The award is truly a team achievement as everyone at Bournes plays a part, however small, in making a great customer experience, and so it’s something we hope every employee is very proud of. Destination Services Provider and Global Mobility Professional of the Year ~ Runners Up
In addition to winning the International Moving Company of the Year category Bournes were also thrilled to be named 'Runner up' for two additional categories, Destination Service Provider of the Year (for the relocation services provided by the company in addition to household goods moving) and Global Mobility Professional of the Year, an individual award category for Corporate Sales Director Jeremy Chandar.
